Hailing from New York, Medina Haseena-Diallo is a woman with many titles: wife, mother, women's health philanthropist, and accomplished author, to name a few. Her unrelenting devotion to women’s health and wellness is matched only by her fiery desire to make a difference in the world.
Medina’s journey began with the birth of her first child, which went off without a hitch and taught her the value of a strong community of midwives and caretakers. Her second birth experience was not as supportive, but it showed her that her destiny was to work in women's health.
After graduating with a degree in manual therapy and health & human services, Medina founded a private practice called My Meaningful Health, which focused on helping women with common issues faced during pregnancy and postpartum. Since then, Medina has worked with over 300 women and has no plans to slow down.
In 2022, "The Shades of Blue Project" honored Medina with the prestigious "Good Heart" award during Black Maternal Week for her outstanding work. She has also appeared in many esteemed magazines and publications, such as Voyage Baltimore, Fashion Week Online, and Jukebox Time.
As a business owner and philanthropist, Medina gives a portion of the proceeds to a different charity each month. All the charities have one thing in common: they help women in need. In her writing, Medina approaches topics with a genuine, heartfelt passion that is tremendously moving. Her work is full of wisdom and insight, and she hopes to inspire others for many years.
